It's truly sad, as badly as I would love to continue the Saga of the Diablo franchise, I just refuse to accept the terms of having to be online to play a single player game. I don't see that happening though because IMO people today are a lot more complacent than people once were of the older gamer generations. The only way we will ever get our single player games back to being in offline mode is if people stop clicking that agree button. Well, I will not be clicking that agree button and I am having a hard time understanding why so many people have. I have seen countless players on forums of all kinds of different sites complain of this, and they are always met with players who say, "You clicked the agree button." Sadly, with Diablo 3, if they ever decide to pull the plug, I will never be able to play Diablo 3 ever again. So because of this, I can enjoy these games anytime I wish to.
Diablo 1 and 2 did not require me to get online.
I can't be the only person who refuses to buy this game because even in single player mode it requires an online connection.
